What a prospective director should know
The Foundation is already publishing the HEART Standard, governance architecture, and supporting research materials. Board service at this stage is about building a durable institution that can hold that work with independence and discipline.
Decision points for candidates
Before accepting service, a candidate should be able to answer:
- Can I serve independently?
- Do I understand the mission and the risk profile?
- Can I meet the time and preparation demands?
- Can I protect the Foundation from capture or drift?
- Do I accept fiduciary and reputational responsibility?
