Emotional Autonomy Division

The Emotional Autonomy Division is the stewardship identity for AI interaction with human affective and emotional processes. Its current normative output is the Emotional Autonomy Domain Profile v1.0.

Stewardship scope

The program maintains research and participation around affective inference, emotionally responsive systems, role and capacity disclosure, emotional-data governance, manipulation and dependency risk, crisis and vulnerability safeguards, contestability, and scientific claim boundaries.

Research boundary

Empathy Systems Theory, CAEI, Emotional Precision, CEOP, empathic misallocation, RCTA/BGF, and related methods may inform research and verification only within their demonstrated scope. Division stewardship does not make any one theory, instrument, or method universally normative.

Current EST doctrine and research are maintained by Empathy Ethicist; HEART uses only what a versioned Profile or competent verification plan explicitly adopts.

Institutional boundary

This page does not claim an operational Division council, Guardian specialty, certification track, or current ACTIVE institutional status. Those require distinct authority, capacity, competence, and public records.
