Attentional Integrity Domain Profile

Attentional Integrity applies where an AI system materially selects, sequences, redirects, interrupts, personalizes, or optimizes access to human attention. Material influence—not ordinary information display—triggers applicability.

Verification requirements

`AI-01`	Material attentional interventions operate under legitimate authority and preserve choice, pause, disengagement, and override.
`AI-02`	Material curation, personalization, persuasive role, and engagement objectives are disclosed when nondisclosure could mislead.
`AI-03`	Safeguards scale with risk, susceptibility, duration, intensity, developmental context, uncertainty, and stopping boundaries.
`AI-04`	Attention shaping stays within declared purpose and does not use undisclosed sensitive inference or obstruct protected choice.
`AI-05`	Effects and controls are monitored proportionate to change and risk; engagement alone is not treated as user benefit.
`AI-06`	Claims of benefit, safety, wellness, addiction prevention, or harm remain evidence-bounded.
`AI-07`	Affected people can contest personalization or attention-shaping treatment and obtain correction or remedy where warranted.

Each requirement retains its own Evidence and minimum Verification Rule. An unresolved research question remains INDETERMINATE; it cannot be averaged into a positive claim.

Evidence and claim boundary

Evidence may include product objectives, ranking logic, experiment records, exposure data, control tests, user research, accessibility testing, complaints, incidents, and independent attention research.

The current validation state is a provisional domain baseline requiring research review. The Profile does not establish addiction, cognitive injury, clinical impairment, causal population effects, or legal compliance. No fixed engagement threshold, BGF score, method, or Guardian specialty is required.
